Hello, my name is Bridie. I'm an artist living in Glasgow, currently working with textiles, writing, performance, and installation. I’m interested in applying artistic methods towards cultivating empathetic relationships with non-human life -> critical at this time of mass species extinction and biodiversity loss.
My favourite art-making quote is from Patricia Goldblatt ‘Insights facilitated through art connect previously unrelated elements, catalyzing new knowing as a shock of recognition: "a self not consciously known"’.
